Responsibility is one of our central values and we align our actions to it. As a manufacturing company, we bear special responsibility in the protection of climate and environment. This is based on the strict legal regulations in Austria and the EU. In many areas, however, we go far beyond the legal environmental regulations.

OEKO-TEX®

Löffler has had articles certified by OEKO-TEX® since 1989. Today, all products manufactured by us are certified according to the 100 by OEKO-TEX® standard and are therefore shown to be free of harmful substances that are considered to be hazardous to the environment or health.

STeP by OEKO-TEX®

The certification of the Löffler GmbH according to STeP by OEKO-TEX® proves that not only are our products are harmless, but also that their production takes place according to high social and environmental standards.

5,380 newly planted beech trees: CO2 relief through photovoltaic plant

By installing a photovoltaic system at our location in Ried im Innkreis, Upper Austria, we remove from the environment 67(!) tons of CO2 every year. This corresponds to a CO2 value of 5,380 newly planted beech trees or 56 cars with an annual mileage of 10,000 kilometers.

40,000 litres of oil saved through geothermal energy (alternatively more than 130 tons of Co2)

We heat eco-friendly with geothermal energy. To achieve this, we shut down a functioning oil heating system in 2018 (check year) and can record annual savings of approx. 40,000 liters of oil.

3,850 kg product packaging replaced by recycled polybags

We are always working on optimising our packaging. Although we cannot completely do without packaging for reasons of quality (protection against moisture, dust and dirt) and logistics (affixing barcodes and delivery to sports retailers), we try to use environmentally sound packaging. Wherever possible we try to reuse the product packaging several times and have switched to recycled polybags for some time now
